FESTIVAL GNAOUA MUSIC

June 21 - 24, 2012  thousands people from all over the World will gather in Essaouira to discover the most original and vibrant musics with popular concerts, free of charge for the audience.

This 15th edition will have jazz, gnaoua and world music performers.

LA MAISON DES COEURS

Official opening last week of the new flat which accommodates an association built by Moroccan and European people and which is dedicated to Essaouira poor children. This association offers them food, scholarships, clothes, leisure organisation during the day. At sunset, they come back to their families so that this link is maintained and enhanced despite the difficulties.

 

Cooperation agreement with Changshu (China)

Essaouira has just established cooperation agreement with Changshu, South-West of China.

Following the visit of a Changshu  delegation in Morocco, it was decided to highlight cooperation links between both cities and strengthen mutual knowledge in terms of Economics, Science, Cultural activities, Sports, Health and Educational  systems.
